Lain Montgomerie

Lain Montgomerie is the Community Development Officer for Mentally Fit EP.

Lain joined forces with Steve Whillas, of EPIC Grain Brokers, in 2018 to create the EPIC Charitable Trust to assist farms on the Eyre Peninsula with feeding their stock.

Her role sees her organising and attending an array of events to promote mental wellness to the community of Eyre Peninsula.

Lain focuses on working towards the creation of a mentally fit community by providing access for the community to quality programs, teaching skills and knowledge to:
•   deliver Take Charge of Your Life programs to communities on Eyre Peninsula
•   enable individuals to better care for their own mental well being
•   enable people to better support each other
•   increase awareness, knowledge and skills through community education forums and social media
•   build capacity of local communities to provide education in the area of mental well being.
